My Idol (Illustration)

Many people have their own idols that make them inspired. For example, my idol is Taylor Swift. I was inspired when I heard her beautiful songs. It talked about teenage life about loving someone or losing your love one. Through her songs, I related it to my life. It seems like she was advised me through her compositions that this is life and she also experiencing what you experienced. Another instance of making me inspired to her is when I heard her song “Mean”. It gave me strength to fight for those who hurt me. If you don’t know, I was bullied when I was in Grade 6. Then, when I heard that song, there’s something entered to my mind and sing these phrase of the song, “Someday I’ll be big enough so you can’t hit and all your ever gonna be is mean.” Another example that she makes me inspired is when she broke up with her ex but she didn't look down instead she was inspired to write a song and after that she won some awards. My idol gave me a lesson to my life to never give up and when you failed, try it again until you success. That’s makes me inspired.

Taylor Swift and Rhian Ramos (Analogy)

Some people compared Taylor Swift to Rhian Ramos. Let’s find out why. They are both British girl. Taylor is from Pennsylvania while Rhian is from a part of UK which is equally in Britain. They are both actress. Taylor proves that she is a good actress when she acts in CSI. Rhian is known for being excellent artist here in the Philippines, performing in GMA Network like Indio. They are look alike. If you try to look longer between them, you will see that they have same looks. Even in their postures, have the same. They are both tall and have fairer skin. 

Taylor Swift’s Albums (Classification)

Taylor Swift has 4 albums, her self-titled album, Taylor Swift, Fearless, Speak Now, and Red.

Her first album, Taylor Swift, is composed of country songs. The main instrument she used is an acoustic guitar. Example of this is Teardrops On My Guitar. 

Fearless is her second album that composed of mix country and pop music. She used some electronic guitars and drums but country music is still the majority. Examples are Love Story and You Belong With Me. 

Speak Now, the most popular album of hers. It is the best selling album than her other albums. It contains country and sort of pop music. It also contains some rock music. Mostly of her songs here are based in fantasy or imaginary. Examples are Sparks Fly and Mine. 

Red is her current album. Here, pop music is the mainstream. In this album, she is now realistic than her previous albums which is full of fancy things. Example of her songs here are We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together and I Knew You Were Trouble.

Swiftie (Definition)

Swiftie (noun) is a name given to fans of the country-pop music singer, Taylor Swift. It comes from her surname ‘Swift’ and added by a suffix ‘-ie’. A true Swiftie supports Taylor in every way, her music, her stage performances, her lyrics, her life, her personality, and her choices. For example, when Taylor Swift published an album, a fragrance, or concert, you will distinguish a person if she is a true Swiftie when you notice him/her that he/she buys it all or you saw him/her that he/she wants to have it. A Swiftie can be called a Taylor Swift addict because he/she was too obsessed with Taylor. He/She wants to hear Taylor’s song or to see Taylor’s photos every day. A Swiftie really loves Taylor even there are flaws with her. Swiftie is the best fan base in the world. Taylor is so lucky to have those great fans.
